Firetex® FX6002 is an ultra-fast-drying, high-performance intumescent coating designed to provide exceptional durability, rapid handling times, and a smooth, aesthetically pleasing finish. It can be handled in as little as one hour after application, helping to improve productivity and reduce project turnaround times.
Suitable for both interior and exterior commercial steel structures, Firetex® FX6002 delivers up to 3 hours of fire and corrosion protection. It has been tested to internationally recognised standards, including ISO 834 Parts 10 and 11, ASTM E119, and UL 263, ensuring reliable fire performance. Its advanced formulation enables faster shop application while maintaining a durable, high-quality finish.

AFCO® 400 / ISOLATEK® Type 400 is a Portland cement-based, wet-mix, medium-density Spray-Applied Fire Resistive Material (SFRM) designed to provide reliable fire protection for structural steel and concrete in commercial buildings and high-rise construction. Its durable Portland cement formulation makes it suitable for use in both conditioned and unconditioned environments.
Engineered for areas exposed to higher levels of impact, wear, and humidity, CAFCO® 400 / ISOLATEK® Type 400 is ideal for mechanical and electrical rooms, parking garages, elevator shafts, and other demanding applications. It meets current IBC high-rise bond strength requirements of ≥ 430 psf and 1,000 psf, ensuring dependable performance in challenging conditions.
In addition to superior fire resistance, CAFCO® 400 / ISOLATEK® Type 400 provides excellent thermal insulation, helping to reduce heat loss, particularly when applied to the underside of roof decks. Its added R-value can also contribute to reducing the amount of roof insulation required, improving overall energy efficiency.
